One mirror.
Three atmospheres.

Dimming is not a badge. It is a coordinated system of LED layout, driver, control logic and color-temperature behavior that must feel consistent on the approved sample.

How dimming works

How Dimmable LED Mirrors Control Brightness

A compatible LED driver and control system adjust light output across a defined range. The control method, minimum brightness, switching behavior and memory logic must be confirmed for the selected mirror.

For accurate sampling and quotation, align the LED layout, driver, control method, CCT functions and destination-market electrical requirements.

Dimming performance depends on the confirmed LED, driver and controller combination. Minimum brightness, flicker behavior and memory function should be verified on the approved sample.

Touch control accessories

Choose the Button Before Sampling

Touch switches are accessory components selected with the mirror, LED driver and control logic. Use the catalog family as a starting point, then confirm the final function on the approved sample.

Single touch

On / Off

Compact touch buttons for basic switching. Catalog examples include K3013BAS1 and WS08D1 families, with model-specific voltage and wiring to be confirmed.

Touch dimming

Brightness + Memory

Selected WS08D, WS08DA and related variants can support long-press brightness adjustment or memory behavior. Confirm the exact suffix and light logic before quotation.

Bathroom function

Demist + CCT

Some variants combine switching with demisting or cool / natural / warm light selection. Treat these as option combinations, not a universal mirror standard.

VoltageCatalog examples show 12V or 12–24V families; confirm the selected driver and destination requirement.
Cut-outTypical catalog panel size is 50 × 30 mm, with thickness support listed up to 6 mm.
FunctionsShort press, long press, brightness adjustment, CCT switching, demisting and memory may vary by suffix.
WiringWire lead, plug, color and connector details are checked against the approved sample drawing.
RFQ checklist: send mirror thickness, cut-out size, input voltage, LED driver, desired icon, button position, brightness / CCT logic, demist requirement and memory behavior.
How the system is planned

From Light Intent to Repeatable Control

Three specification decisions turn “dimmable” into a product that can be sampled, tested and repeated.

01

Define the Dimming Range

Confirm target brightness, acceptable minimum output, LED layout, driver and component clearances.

02

Choose Control Logic

Specify touch, wall switch, phase-cut, 0–10V, DALI or another project-defined control route.

03

Match the Market

Review voltage, wiring, driver, installation, compliance documentation and packaging for the destination.

Choose by operating need

On/Off, Touch-Dimmable or Project-Controlled?

The useful distinction is not the marketing label—it is how brightness is controlled and how the mirror integrates with the room electrical plan.

Basic switching

Standard Bathroom Mirror

Fixed light output with simple on/off switching. Best when brightness adjustment is not required or another room-level solution is specified.

Integrated control

Touch-Dimmable LED Mirror

A touch control can adjust brightness on a compatible LED and driver system. Confirm minimum level, memory behavior and control symbols before sampling.

Project control

0–10V or DALI-Controlled Mirror

Suitable for selected commercial lighting systems when the complete driver and control architecture is confirmed by the project team.

Decisions to confirm

A useful RFQ goes beyond “with dimmable.” These inputs affect feasibility, component layout, test criteria and price.

Dimmable Mirror Specification Framework

Use this framework to define a dimmable LED bathroom mirror without assuming one control or driver specification applies to every model.

Dimming rangeMaximum and minimum output, smoothness, step or continuous behavior and any flicker acceptance criteria are confirmed on the selected sample.
Voltage & powerInput voltage, frequency, rated power and connection method are reviewed for the destination market and selected component set.
Control logicTouch control, wall switch, phase-cut, 0–10V, DALI or another project interface can be reviewed against the chosen electrical design.
Lighting integrationFrontlit, backlit or combined lighting; brightness dimming and adjustable color temperature may use combined or separate controls depending on the selected platform.
InstallationMounting direction, cable outlet, driver location and rear-component clearances require drawing approval.
Compliance filesRequired certifications, labels, manuals and test records must be checked model by model for the destination market.
Commercial termsSample scope, MOQ, lead time, branding, packaging and delivery plan are quoted after the configuration and quantity are reviewed.

Common questions

Dimmable Bathroom Mirror FAQ

How do dimmable LED mirrors work?

A compatible LED driver and controller adjust the light output. The usable range and control behavior depend on the approved component combination.

Can dimming and adjustable color temperature use one control?

They can on selected platforms. Confirm whether brightness and CCT use one combined control or separate controls for the approved model.

Will a dimmable mirror remember the last brightness?

Memory behavior depends on the selected controller and power-cycle logic and should be confirmed during sampling.

Can mirror lighting integrate with a wall dimmer or project control system?

Yes, where the chosen control and electrical design supports it. Compatibility depends on the driver and control architecture; send the intended wall-control specification for review.

Which options can be combined with dimming?

Depending on the model, options may include front or back lighting, dimming, adjustable color temperature, touch or sensor controls, frames, branding and custom packaging.

What should I send for a quotation?

Send dimensions or a drawing, quantity, destination country, lighting and control requirements, brightness range, CCT preference and control method, certification needs and delivery target.
