LED salon styling mirrors

For repeated styling stations.

Configuration details

Use the mirror and chair as one coordinated station. Discuss front-lit, backlit or combined lighting, but do not choose by appearance alone: the seated client and the stylist must be able to see the intended service area. Send the station elevation and room-lighting plan with your inquiry.

Request: BWP-01, overall size, quantity by variation, destination and preferred light direction. Explore Custom Salon Mirrors.

Framed salon mirrors

Shape, finish and quiet character.

Configuration details

A non-illuminated framed mirror can work with a separately designed lighting system. Specify the outline, frame profile and finish reference together; a color name alone does not establish texture, sheen or an exact match to existing furniture.

Request: BWP-02, frame reference, wall dimensions, quantity and adjacent material samples. Discuss the Configuration.

Professional makeup mirrors

Main wall mirrors and close-detail accessories are different items.

Configuration details

Prioritize a comfortable close view and facial illumination. A wall mirror at a makeup desk and a small magnifying mirror serve different purposes. State whether the request is for the main mirror, an accessory, or both, and review the proposed construction before confirming the package.

Request: BWP-03, desk layout, viewing distance and lighting brief. Explore Professional Makeup Mirrors.

Configuration details

Give clients room to see the complete result. Define the usable reflection, floor relationship and standing area before settling the decorative outline. Large mirrors also need a project-specific review of handling, wall support and fixing arrangements.

Request: BWP-04, available wall height, clear floor area and installation information. Explore Custom Full-Length Mirrors.

Decorative spa mirrors

A natural place to pause.

Configuration details

Use shape and frame finish to connect reception and treatment areas without turning every mirror into a task-lighting fixture. Where a rear halo is proposed, assess the wall surface and surrounding light: ambient glow does not establish adequate facial illumination.

Request: BWP-05, outline or reference image, finish direction and room photograph. Review Customization Requirements.

Commercial vanity mirrors

A considered finishing touch.

Configuration details

Coordinate the mirror with basins, taps and the intended users. Discuss demisting only where condensation is expected, and identify the required clear area. Electrical suitability and any moisture-related documentation must be reviewed for the selected configuration and installation location.

Request: BWP-06, vanity elevation, connection requirements and expected site conditions. Request Specifications & a Quote.

Mirror Solutions for
Salons, Spas & Beauty Studios

The client-experience descriptions below are design intentions, not testimonials or measured customer outcomes.

Three salon mirror stations — design concept
01 / THE CLIENT EXPERIENCE

Salon styling stations — follow the transformation

Clients should be able to follow a consultation, see the shape of their hair and discuss adjustments without leaning awkwardly around a counter. Align the mirror with the chair, then check the view through the chair's working positions.

Project decision: confirm the useful viewing area, room lighting and cable route on one complete station before repeating it across the salon.

Choosing the Right Lighting
for Beauty Mirrors

Choose the direction of light first

Three 3D mirror concepts comparing front lighting, a rear wall halo and combined lighting
Open the diagram to view at full size ↗

3D light-direction comparison. Rendered illumination is illustrative, not photometric data.

Lighting approach Main role Where to consider it What to verify
Front-lit Light emitted toward the viewing position Styling and makeup stations Facial illumination, diffusion, glare and working distance
Backlit Light directed onto the wall behind the mirror Spa reception and ambient schemes Wall clearance, finish, halo distribution and separate task lighting
Front + backlit Task-oriented front light with a rear halo Mixed-use styling and consultation spaces Whether the circuits operate together, dimming and power-return behavior
Non-illuminated Reflection without integrated lighting Decorative walls and externally lit stations Placement and performance of the room's lighting
Color quality, color temperature & controls

What CRI should a professional salon mirror have?

Color rendering index, or CRI, describes color fidelity relative to a reference light source. It is different from color temperature and does not measure brightness. For color-critical services, a buyer may set a CRI 90+ target for review; this is a proposed procurement criterion, not a verified rating for the mirrors on this page.

Request data for the actual LED configuration and evaluate a sample in the planned setting. A single CRI value should not replace a review of facial shadows, glare and how hair or makeup appears. See the U.S. Department of Energy's explanation of LED light quality.

Is 3000 K or 4000 K better for a beauty space?

3000 K generally appears warmer; 4000 K appears cooler by comparison. These numbers describe light color, not a guaranteed level of color accuracy. ENERGY STAR explains this distinction.

Use the service and surrounding lighting to establish a target rather than assigning one temperature to the whole facility. A softer spa atmosphere and a color-focused makeup desk may need different reviews. If adjustable color temperature is requested, define its proposed range and controls, then confirm what the selected configuration can provide. The values here are examples for discussion, not an OJMIRROR availability list.

Put the lighting requirements in one place

Record the CCT target, color-rendering requirement, intended viewing distance, dimming method, switch location and supply information. Distinguish LED wattage, total light output and illumination at the working position; one does not substitute for the others. Compatibility with an existing dimmer must be confirmed for the proposed driver and controls.

Custom Sizes, Frames & Finishes

Choose the details in a sequence that makes approval practical: overall size and outline, frame profile, finish reference, then lighting and controls. Custom requests remain subject to construction review; an attractive concept does not establish manufacturability.

3D corner studies showing brass-tone, nickel-tone and matte-black mirror frame finish directions
Finish-direction visualization, not physical samples. Confirm material, coating, sheen and profile on the selected sample.
Decision Supply with the brief Approval reference
Size & orientation Overall width × height in mm or inches; quantity for each size Dimensioned drawing with units and revision
Outline Rectangle, arch, oval or your own dimensioned shape Agreed outline and corner/radius details
Frame construction Desired face width, depth and material direction Reviewed profile or section
Finish Physical sample or a clear color and sheen reference Labeled, accepted finish sample
Lighting & controls Light direction, intended operation and electrical brief Agreed configuration and sample record
Branding Artwork and proposed placement Approved artwork and feasibility review

Finish approval: names such as “brass tone” or “matte black” describe a design direction, not the underlying metal, coating system or durability. Ask for the applicable sample and care guidance. Digital renders cannot confirm exact color, texture or finish performance.

Commercial Mirror Specifications
& Installation Planning

3D planning concept showing mirror width, height, useful viewing area and side-view wall relationship
Open the diagram to view at full size ↗

Planning illustration, not an installation drawing. Final dimensions, fixings and electrical details must come from the approved project documentation.

There is no single mirror size that fits every salon. Start with the space and the viewing task, then send the following information for review:

  1. Available wall area: width, height, corners and nearby doors or fittings.
  2. Counter position: width, depth and height above finished floor.
  3. Chair relationship: centerline, adjustment range and intended working positions.
  4. Useful reflection: seated face-and-hair view, close detail or full-length review.
  5. Wall and service information: wall construction, cable route, connection point and access constraints.
  6. Site responsibilities: who verifies dimensions, prepares wall support and completes installation.

Separate the overall mirror dimensions from the useful viewing area, frame and illuminated border. Show mounting and service requirements on a separate detail rather than assuming they can be inferred from the front elevation.

Request a configuration-specific data sheet

What to include in your specification sheet
Field Information needed before order approval
Product identity Confirmed model or project reference; drawing revision
Geometry Overall width, height, depth, orientation and relevant tolerances
Materials Glass, backing and frame construction applicable to that mirror
Lighting Confirmed CCT, CRI where specified, power and control configuration
Electrical Supply and connection details; documents applicable to model and market
Installation Mounting arrangement, wall requirements, weight and service access
Packing Protection method, packed dimensions/weight and carton identification

Values are to be confirmed for the selected configuration. A photograph or concept reference cannot replace this data sheet.

DESIGN STUDY / NOT A COMPLETED PROJECT

One Project.
Different Mirror Requirements.

Isometric design study with two salon mirrors, one makeup mirror and a separate spa grooming mirror
Illustrative room configuration, not a completed installation. Furniture and fit-out work are outside the mirror scope unless quoted.

A mixed-service beauty studio

Use a room-by-room schedule when the same interior combines styling, makeup and treatment services. A coordinated finish can link the spaces without forcing one lighting configuration into every room.

Styling area
Repeat the mirror and chair relationship; review one station before repeating the layout.
Makeup consultation
Review face-level lighting and working distance. Specify a magnifying accessory separately if needed.
Spa grooming
Separate the post-treatment grooming task from low-level treatment lighting.

OEM & ODM Project Review,
Quality Control & Export Packaging

Keep the approved mirror reference connected to the documents used for production and delivery. Ask which records apply to your order and agree the inspection scope before production release.

Review stage Agree or request What it resolves
Drawing review Dimensions, frame section, light area, cable exit and fixing arrangement Whether the proposed construction fits the project
Sample review Finish, reflection, operation, lighting and approved changes The reference against which repeated units will be reviewed
Inspection planning Applicable checks, acceptance criteria and model-specific electrical records What will be checked and how findings will be recorded
Packaging review Edge/corner protection, accessories, handling and agreed transport conditions How the mirror and loose parts are to be protected
Dispatch preparation Carton reference, quantity, destination and delivery phase How the receiving team identifies each variation

Review Mirror Quality Testing · Discuss Your Project Requirements

Documentation, not general badges. If your specification requires a certification or test document, identify the market and selected model. Confirm the document's product scope and validity; do not assume a component document covers the complete mirror or every variation.

For a new size or finish, request a proposed drawing, material reference and sample review scope. For inspection, agree checks for mirror appearance, dimensions, frame joints, lighting operation and packing identification. Sampling levels, acceptance criteria and reports belong to the order-specific agreement.

07 / BEAUTY & WELLNESS PROJECT GUIDE

Coordinated Mirrors for Multi-Location Salon Chains

A repeat order needs more than a shared appearance. Create one mirror schedule, with a separate line whenever size, finish, lighting, controls or mounting changes. Keep location quantities separate from the configuration definition so the receiving team can reconcile cartons with the installation plan.

Suggested schedule fields: location → space → configuration reference → dimensions → finish → lighting and controls → quantity → drawing revision → delivery phase.

Approve a representative station before repeating it, and record which variations need their own review. For later locations, retain the accepted sample references and identify any proposed substitutions. Discuss spare units or components according to the operational effect of a station being out of use; quantities and availability belong in the quotation.

PROCUREMENT / DOCUMENTS BEFORE APPROVAL

Request the Evidence
for Your Selected Mirror.

The visuals explain design intent. Before selecting a mirror for purchase, ask for a model or sample reference and a matching evidence package. This page does not publish a verified beauty-mirror SKU data sheet or completed customer case.

Product & construction

Model/sample identification, actual product photographs, glass thickness, overall dimensions, frame profile and mounting detail with a drawing revision.

Lighting & market documents

Configuration-specific CCT, CRI, output, voltage and controls. For US or Canadian projects, identify the exact electrical requirements and document scope before approval.

Sample & delivery records

Accepted finish reference, inspection checklist, packing configuration and location labels. Request actual project records only when relevant and permitted for disclosure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can one inquiry cover a salon, spa and makeup area?

Yes—include the spaces in one brief, with quantities and requirements on separate lines. Shared finish references can help coordinate the design, while lighting and installation details remain specific to each configuration.

Are these complete styling stations or mirror configurations?

The selection guide concerns mirrors. Counters, chairs, storage, separate lights and installation are not implied by a scene image. List any additional requirements and check the inclusions and exclusions in the quotation.

Can we order without knowing the final mirror dimensions?

You can begin an inquiry with wall measurements, photographs and approximate quantities. Final sizes, construction and installation details need agreement before the order is released for production.

What are the minimum order quantity and lead time?

They are confirmed for the construction, finish, electrical options and quantity requested. Ask for separate milestones for sample review, production, dispatch and transport; these are not the same as the required on-site date.

Can we review a sample before a multi-location order?

Discuss sample scope, cost and timing with the quotation. Agree what it needs to prove, record accepted changes and link the approved reference to the variations in the order.

Do all illuminated mirrors have the same certifications or wet-area suitability?

No blanket claim should be assumed. Provide the destination, installation conditions and required documents so the selected configuration can be reviewed. Confirm the exact model and document scope before approval.

Can the finish match our existing counters and fittings?

Send a physical reference where possible and identify which qualities must match: tone, sheen, texture or profile. Review the proposed sample alongside the existing materials and document any accepted differences.

How do we prepare for cleaning, maintenance and replacement?

Request care guidance for the agreed glass, frame and controls, and describe products used nearby. Keep the drawing, configuration and order references with the site records. Discuss service access and any spare arrangements before dispatch.

Can mirrors be supplied for North American commercial projects?

Submit the destination, supply requirements, installation environment and requested compliance documents for review. Confirm the selected mirror’s electrical configuration and applicable document scope before ordering; a component certificate does not by itself establish certification of the complete mirror.

Do you provide shop drawings and installation details?

Include the drawings and installation information you need in the quotation scope. A reviewed mirror drawing should identify dimensions, interfaces and revision status. Site measurements, wall support, fixing selection and electrical installation still require review by the responsible project team.

How are large commercial mirrors packaged for export?

The package should be reviewed against mirror size, frame, accessories and shipping route. Ask which corner protection, cushioning, carton reinforcement or crate/pallet arrangement is proposed, and what packing photos or checks are included. No single package or transit-test result applies to every configuration.

What CRI should be specified for professional makeup mirrors?

A CRI 90+ target may be included for review where color fidelity matters. It is a buyer’s proposed criterion, not a verified rating for every mirror shown here. Request data for the actual LED configuration and review a sample with the intended room lighting and makeup products.
