ADA Mirror Mounting Height Calculator

Check the bottom of the reflecting surface and the advisory mirror top using vertical dimensions from your product drawing. All inputs and results are in inches above finished floor (AFF).

Mirror dimensions

Offset means the full vertical distance from the product bottom to usable reflective glass. This may differ from the nominal LED-band width.

Height results

A height-limit result is not a determination of full ADA compliance. This tool assumes a vertical mirror and that the overall product top is the mirror top being assessed. It does not calculate mounting-hole positions or installation tolerances.

Two illustrative installation elevations

Two hypothetical elevations: a frameless mirror beginning at 40 inches and an LED mirror beginning at 38 inches with a 2-inch lower offset; both reflecting surfaces begin at 40 inches and mirror tops reach 74 inches.

These fixed examples do not change with calculator inputs. They are illustrative geometry, not an OJMirror customer project or an installation drawing.
